ThermoCouple

I’ve admired the work of Thermocouple for years. One morning, I finally gathered the courage to write to them and ask if I could come meet them and photograph them. I stepped into a world - their world - where what was supposed to be one day turned into three, and somehow it felt as if we had known each other for years. Making art and the mountains. And masks in the river. They told me about an idea they had: to place ceramic masks in different spots along the river. I practically started jumping up and down like a child and told them how much I wanted them to do it while I was still there, so I could photograph it.

От години се възхищавам на работата на Thermocouple. Една сутрин се престраших да им пиша с предложение да се запознаем и да ги снимам. Попаднах в един свят, в техния свят, в който вместо един ден, останах три и се усещаше сякаш се познаваме от години. Творенето и планината. И маските в реката. Споделиха ми за идеята си - да пуснат керамични маски на различни места в реката и аз заподскачах като малко дете и казах, че много искам това да се случи, докато съм там и да го снимам!
